Productivity SA ‘s Enterprise Support Programmes are designed \r\nto contribute to sustainable and inclusive growth and development which are a prerequisite for full and \r\nproductive employment and decent work for all, wealth and income growth, job preservation or \r\nminimising the retrenchment of workers. \r\n \r\nProductivity SA ‘s Mandate is to promote employment growth and productivity thereby contributing to \r\nSouth Africa’s socio-economic development and competitiveness by promoting the following objectives: \r\n \r\n•Promote a culture of productivity in the workplace \r\n•Develop relevant productivity competencies. \r\n•Facilitate and evaluate productivity improvement and competitiveness in the workplace. \r\n•Measure and evaluate productivity in the workplace. \r\n•Maintain a database of productivity and competitiveness systems and publicising these systems. \r\n•Undertaking productivity-related research. \r\n•Support initiatives aimed at preventing job losses. \r\n \r\nProductivity SA’ vision \r\nTo lead and inspire a productive and competitive South Africa \r\nProductivity SA Mission \r\nTo improve productivity by diagnosing, advising, implementing, monitoring and evaluating solutions \r\naimed at improving South Africa’s sustainable growth, development and employment through increased \r\ncompetitiveness. \r\n \r\n1.         Objectives of the Electronic Newsletter \r\n1.1.      Provides programme performance to shareholders, stakeholders, current clients,  \r\n            potential   clients, the media and the community. \r\n1.2.      Highlight strategic milestones for the year. \r\n1.3.      Providing updates for upcoming projects/events. \r\n1.4.      Serves as a marketing tool to promote both Productivity SA. \r\n1.6.      Contributes to achieving objective 6 of the programme that relates to Marketing  \r\n            and Dissemination, which is intended to explore and document best practices and \r\n            lessons learnt from the business sample that participated in the programme to the  \r\n            broader business community to enhance productivity and competitiveness of  \r\n            South African sectors and enterprises.
